WELCOME to BCre8ive

As an individual you have three ways in which to join BCre8ive

All options will give you access to the MashUp, Talent Pool, and Mentors.

You start by uploading an artefact that you have created (Artefact is what we are calling all original pieces of work, from drawings and texts to animatics and music)

Intellectual Property (IP): All artefacts uploaded to the site are tagged, and archived, to protect your ownership of your work

OPTION 1:  START YOUR OWN PROJECT

If you wish to work on your own at the start:

Sign up with your own project, and we will create a MashUp group just for you, to store and work on your own material. If you want to ask people to join you later, you can. If this option is what you wish to do please use the OWN PROJECT button on the registration page

If your project has more than one element to it eg music, script, illustrations, choose one artefact to register then upload other artefacts once your registration is complete.

OPTION 2: FIND A GROUP TO WORK WITH

if you wish to work with a group but are not currently working with someone on your project.

We will try to find you other people on the site working with a similar idea to you or who have the same type of creative interests as you

For us to help you find a group all you have to do is upload an artefact. and answer 5 questions about your creative interests

If there is no matching group or creative partner we will set  up a new group for you to invite people into.  You will be able to do this through the talent pool, and other people you know, so long as they sign up to BCre8ive.

OPTION 3:  ALREADY WORKING IN A TEAM

IF you are already working with someone else or a group of people on a project you can join as a team, and we will create a new MashUp group for all of you (maximum number in a team is 10). When you upload your first artefact you will be able to list all the people you wish to have in your MashUp group.  This will make you the administrator of the group, but you can swap this role with other members of the group later.

OPTION 4:  TALENT POOL

If you do not have a project or an idea that you want to work on immediately but would like your skills and work profile to be available to groups on the site and to Production Companies so that you can be invited to join other collaboration teams, then the Talent Pool is an option for you.

Mentors are the key advisors on BCre8ive, supporting creatives in developing their ideas across the platform. We seek people who are committed to working collaboratively, have some experience of developing creative content, and are willing to be trained to work across all digital platforms.

Your background may be in development, production, training or education. The key issues for BCre8ive are that you are open to the potential for cross platform production and have a track record in helping people unlock their creative potential. As A COMPANY you have three ways in which to USE BCre8ive

1. Become a BCre8ive Lab Partner –

We are inviting companies to join our Incubator Lab team.  Each Lab is online and will last three months. It will involve up to 10 companies developing new products ranging from mobile games, TV series, and feature films to e-books and live interactive events.

Each company will have their own exclusive area of specialism and will benefit from:-

1. First look deals for new original digital content and dramatic worlds
2. A low cost multi-platform development opportunity
3. Access to a growing talent pool - from illustrators and writers to games designers and animators
4. Participation in selecting teams for the Incubator Lab
5. An infofeed of developments across all digital publishing platforms
6. Training for staff in online collaboration and concept development
7. Cross-collateralisation production opportunities

2. Join the MashUp:

The MashUp is a free to use collaborative workspace.  Bring a new idea into the MashUp and develop it with your own team and/or with other BCre8ive members. In the MashUp you will have access to Mentors, and the Talent Pool

3. Search the Talent Pool

Use the Talent Pool to discover the creative/s you need to take your ideas to the next level.
